The beneficiary of the Feed-in Tariffs is the owner of the system
Nominally it is the owner of the eligible installation who is the beneficiary under the FITs.
Provided that the system is eligible, the owner can register it for the tariffs and sign up with a FITs Licensee, who will make the tariff payments to her/him.
However, the beneficiary is entitled to nominate someone else to receive the tariffs. This person or entity is called the ‘nominated recipient’.
When the FITs Licensee is appointed there will be the opportunity to advise them who payments should be made to.
